Dog Costumes

I'm not sure I would want to look like these dogs in some of the dog costumes below but it seems to be the thing to do if you're going to a fancy dress party.

Whether for a Halloween or Christmas party or just to play dress up, there are literally hundreds of dog costumes available for your four-legged friend. Are you dressing up as Batman, and need your Labrador to play Robin? Or, perhaps you want your little Princess to look the part. The world of dog costumes allows you to let your pet play the part of Elvis Presley, an old-West sheriff, a circus clown or your favorite rock star.

Most dog costumes are actually very inexpensive, especially when compared to the human versions. For as little as six dollars, you can outfit your pet in a clown costume, including a colorful headpiece and matching tie around ruffled collar. Various costumes that include a cape and matching headpiece, such as Superman, Batman and Zorro, fall into the $10 to $12 range at some outlets, with a collection of slightly more elaborate attire available for under twenty dollars.

For special occasions or events, there are numerous dog costumes on the market to help your pet be included in, and maybe even a key part of, the festivities. A graduation cap and gown will help commemorate the achievement of graduating from obedience school. Would Rover make a good Santa or elf at Christmas, a ghost or witch at Halloween, or even the Easter Bunny at Easter? Is your favorite team playing in the Superbowl or World Series? Let your best friend show his support for your team, with his very own doggy jersey. Your pets live to be part of your life, and these amazing costumes for dogs help them be a part of the good times.

Here are a few examples of some of the many costumes you can buy from costumecraze.com to dress up your dog.
